Can anyone identify my Hat?

I've had this hat for a while now. I have never worn it out yet and I have been meaning to find out what type it is exactly..

I bought the hat over a year ago from a small traditional hat shop in Trapani, Sicily.

Couldn't get much info from the guy in the shop as he didn't have much english so I searched around online when I got back. At first I thought it was a 'Fedora' but I'm not too sure as this one has a smaller brim compared to many pics of fedora hats I have looked at, and it seems a lot stiffer. It got a rough time in the airport and the plane on the way back so I hope it hasn't been damaged..

Here are some (bad) photo's.. The gold writing on the side of the inside of the hat reads 'Lepre Garantino'.

    Thanks.

    Stingy-brim fedora?

That was quick! Just google imaged the name you suggested and it looks like my hat just might be the stingy brim fedora. Found some very similar hats.

Thanks! If anyone else has any opinions/info let me know.

Nice hat, but basically just a regular fedora. :) Lepre Guarantino is probably just the maker name.
Although Lepre is french for leprosy
