    Hi guys,
Just bought 2 tickets for a Munster home game in Thomond for the missus as a birthday pressie.
Is there any B&B/hotels near the ground as we will be traveling from Laois for this game and it is a fair trip down

Try the Coast (formerly Hilton ) hotel on the bridge, 2 mins to town 10 mins to stadium walking.

    That'd be "The Strand" :).

Clarion Hotel is nice, was there about a month ago. You can walk into town from it too.
The Clarion Suites are nearer the park but further away from town.

The hotels nearest Thomond are the the Travel-lodge, the Greenhills, the Woodfield, The Clarion Suites and The Strand.

The Travellodge and the Greenhills are fairly low standard hotels, and a bit out of town, the Clarion Suites and the Woodfield are the nearest and are fine hotels. The Strand is near town and used to be the Hilton, very nice.

In town you have Jury's Inn, the Clarion, The George, Pery's, the Railway Hotel, and the Absolute

The Clarion, the George and the Absolute are nice afaik, the others are fairly standard.

Personally, I'd stay in the Strand, near the stadium and near the town.

Hey guys another quick question re the match.
What time and enterance do the players go in and out before/after the game as hopefully would like to get photos/autographs

I'd def advise you hit the Clarion as the team often stays there. That or else UL the next day where you'll often catch them training. I've always found for autographs and photos it's easier at away games cos there are less people there waiting for them. I got all the boys after the Ulster match recently and got all the Ulster boys after their away match to the Ospreys.

They used to enter the ground at the North East corner of the ground and would usually arrive about 1.5 hours in advance of the game. Not sure now since the stadium is fully open.

If your ticket is for the East side then you might be as well off to enter the ground and try to meet the teams as they enter their respective dressing rooms.

    Upper East Stand
