Just wondering should a game bought in australia work in my xbox360 here, i know that australia are a PAL country like us but wasn't sure if there is some other regional encoding on the disks..

yup, should be fine. they are Pal and Region 2 (dvd) aswell. Games I've bought in the past for the original xbox/gamecube and now 360 have worked fine.

Australia is Region 4 but I don't think there'll be an issue.
