    Hi all

    looking at treating myself to one of these for christmas,i think it will complete my lens lineup for a whil

    have a 50mm 1.4
    70-200 f2.8
    sigma 10-20mm
    and kit lens

    Just how good is this lens is it worth the money,can get it off kerso for €863

    should i take the plunge ?

    Superb lens and good for a lot of different shots, super sharp too and built like a tank!!

    YES !!!

    My favourite lens .. it's a beauty ...

    such clear shots .. it's amazing really ...

    can't recommend it enough and that is a bargain price !!

    buy it.

    Great lens, it's my workhorse - I've used it for just about everything from fashion to weddings, to gigs and portraiture with never a single problem. Generally very sharp, fantastic AF, etc etc etc...

    Buuuuut... It's a naff focal length on anything other than full frame.

    It is heavy. But it's a brilliant lens. Great quality, AF, sharp, sturdy and brilliant for portraits/weddings.
