Hey im looking to start a band in dublin i play bass nd have had 2 years of experience in gigs and the studio im not too picky bout wha i play nd my influences are primus red hot chili peppers pink floyd soundgarden rage against the machine (victor wooten aint bad ) lil thin lizzy too so if ur interested PM ME!!!!!!! Original band! With some fun covers for jamming etc? I'm into basically all the similiar genre's and a mix of everything else as yourself xavi-wan just different bands. So what do we have so far? 2 lead guitarists a singer, no concept of what type of band or anything else! Oh yea!
I'm interested in some funky rock, fair bit of improb that type of stuff!

That's a good idea, unfortunately I'm going to Spain on 20th till 5th Also this weekend.

Do you want to meet sometime next week? We can discuss about what to do.

Funky rock, sounds interesting! We can also take into consideration about other influences but I like the idea.

I know its a pathetic attempt at a guitar battle but at least it shows that Im half competent on the instrument!

I don't have any myspace up anymore but I can play, i'll keep it at that, lets just keep it simple, everyone post up what their interested in doing and people splinter off, theres too much interest for just one band now! Bluesy funky heavy rock, improb that type of stuff, if anyones interested lets get this thing going, i'm dying to get some serious playing going again!

ok, well then im a female singer interested in rock, pop, indie classics that get the crowd goin at gigs (ie; everything from led zepplin to snow patrol to the killers to Pink) would really just rather a covers band, ya dont have as much fun doin originals.

Actually, they do suck now. Indeed, they suck incredibly amounts of knob right now in fact. Old peppers would be the ticket. Although, thinking about it, you'll always have to deal with gangs of idiots who know nothing of old chilis, shouting "Californiacation!". And, I don't want to play any new stuff.
