Just wondering lads/ladies did any of use do the course for the Energy Performance Building Directive, was thinking of doing it but have my reservations.
    If anybody has:
How did you find the course?
Is there going to be work doing it?
    Does it pay well?

    Any information is appreciated.

If your talking anout the one run by KB in DIT then I did it last year. In my opinion its a complete waste of time. If you want to become a BER assessor you will have to pay a company to train you and sit their exam which is backed by IES. Save your money for this as the cost is in the region €1500 for domestic and more for non-domestic. Given the state of the construction industry at present I'd be hesitant to jump into the training at the moment. Once you have passed your exams you will have to pay an annual fee of €1000 (domestic).
