List Of PS1/PS2 Games Compatible With European PS3?

Is it just me, or is it impossible to find a list of PS1 and PS2 that work on European PS3s?

There's a ton of sites for the US version, but their PS3 is different to ours. They have the special chip installed, while we download bits and pieces through updates.

Does anyone know what games work with it, assuming the most recent update is installed?

There was a list that sony made, complete with 1-3 star compatibility ratings. I'm not sure where it is though

That's the US version only, not the European.

PS1 games are playable on PS3, only found that out tonight.:D FF VII, here come.

Unless you have a launch 60GB PS3, then there are no PS2 games that can be played on the PS3.

Did you try Google? Click the second link - it's a site I used a while ago to check if PS2 games I was going to buy would actually work. It compatibility for both PS1 and PS2 games, you can select European as the region and it has the Sony star rating given and ratings for most games from users who have actually played the game on their PS3.

They used to have the listing here http://eu.playstation.com/bc with full search capability but it looks like the whole thing has been swept under the rug since.

This is another one you can use though: http://www.ps3comp.com
