My cousin is doing it and she says that it is excellent. The exams are marked to the same standard and by the same people as in UCD.

Presumably, paid significantly less... take from that what you will.

    Hi o/p and Remmy,

I'm studying law in Carlow and have found it a really great course. The course is tough going but that goes without saying. First year is great though, you've probably got the best 3 law modules to look forward to especially Criminal and Constitutional. If you start in straight away, you should have no problem in keeping up on the lectures and many, many reading lists ;) .

The lecturers are among the best in the college, bearing in mind that law is relatively new to Carlow and the lecturers would still be fairly enthusiatic about the course. They do know their respective areas inside out though. But I have to say that all of them are very approachable and more than happy to help out and give feedback on exams. If you go to the webpage and look up the course, you'll get the course director, Allison Kenneally's e-mail address there. If you have any questions, drop her a message. The best of luck with your studies.
