    hi all,
    1 have 2 queries about sky cause their customer service is not helping me....

    i upgraded to sky+ 2 weeks ago but it hasnt worked since the day i got it. if i go to record anything i get this message " live pause is not available. please call to upgrade your package". i have rang sky every day since and they tell me it'll be working in the next 24hrs.
    its still not working, what can i do?

    the other problem i have is my mam got sky installed today. we got a sky+ and 1 multiroom box from sky and when we ordered it we told them we had 2 older sky boxes that we wanted installed as well in 2 other rooms and wanted the installation of them included in the installation price. we were told this could be a prob but the girl spoke to her supervisor and then told us this isnt a prob. we recieved 4 sky cards and are subscripted to sky multiroom for all the boxes. the engineer came, installed sky+ and 1 multiroom but wouldnt fit the other 2 boxes cause they were 2nd hand.. i rang sky 7 times today and they keep hanging up on me half way through our conversation so i not ringing them again. is it possible for us to connect the 2 boxes up ourselves or is it really hard.

    ok firstly your sky plus box,is the phoneline connected?has a callback been done?if yes it may well be a replacment card you need.

    as for the other boxes you need installed,you could get a local sky installer to fit them,connect phone lines to them,then put cards into the respective boxes,do a callback and if all else fails ring sky and they will activate them,regards.you can only do a call back when dish,phoneline are connected and card is in the box. 1.press services 2.go to system setup 3. key in 0 1 then press select 4.go to new installation and follow on screen messages,regards:)
