changed and ready to go looking a million dollars with my new 360s headed for the first.by the time we hit the second i was freezing so threw another top on(now 4) by the time we got to 5 i was absolutely perished tingling everywhere mate says "you must be coming down with something" had to head in after 9 had a shower and up for the grub starting feeling a lot better so headed off home noticed on the box off the layer in big bold writing "hot weather" im a gob****e didnt realise that. bought a cold weather one this morning and played 9 must say it was a great job and will come in very handy over the winter

I'm a big fan of these things too. Wore them right through last winter and they really stop the wind and cold getting in. I find the summer one to be really good in the rain too.

I've been using these for golf and football for a couple of years now, they're a gift... Got three of em for stg£26 in the Nike outlet in Banbridge a few weeks back. Longsleeved. Great job.

Thats super value in fairness. Usually prefer the short sleeve one myself and the Canterbury ones are my favourites

I picked an Underarmour one up there recently for around $30, use it playing golf and under my leathers on the bike aswell and it's a godsend, fookin great!!

Anyone know where you can get the leggings for cheap, maybe on the web?

Forgot to mention - I have a pair of leggins I got in LIDL for about €12 last year! Wore em all through winter playing golf with just the rainpants over them. Perfect. I think these ones are actually for skiing.

Big fan of these. I've 5 of the cantebury ones. 2 long sleeve and 3 short sleeves. They are extremely comfortable and keep out the cold. Wont go out golfing with out one of them on.

I bought a Nike one last year ,XL supposedly but its much too tight for my liking.
Are the Canterbury ones better ?

the other issue I found was around body length, and the vest rising up leaving a gap. The canterbury does it, and the Helly Hansen doesn't in the sizes I bought

Yeah they're great. 'Very' cold here in the West last week. I have a load of running tops which are both short and long sleeved very light dri-fit layers. I put on two or three below a long-sleeved nike polo and light jumper plus a sleeveless wind sheeter. Sounds a lot (it is) but I was toasty going around and importantly my arms were not hindered by the layers. Just the job for the seriously cold days. I also invested in a pair of wilson gloves (fleece lined ski-type gloves) and can really recommend them. I had had one day where I spent the time between shots trying to keep my hands somewhere above freezing. These really sorted that out.

I always get the Nike ones myself, but ALWAYS go a size up. As in, I get XL instead of L. They fit fine.

I did the opposite with base layers, whatever my size I downsized!! They work best when skintight hence why I bought a size smaller... Good few of my mates have them and all said the same, tighter the better (obv not to restrict your movement, the kind of material they're made from though it shouldn't restrict)

I use the Helly Hansen ones... big fan of the go-faster stripes!
I used them on the St. Andrews trip recently and just had a polo shirt on over it and then a short sleeved wind/waterproof top over that and still kept warm enough while completely unrestricted... I'd recommend gloves though too, you can't play golf with cold hands that have no feel.

Helly Hansen or any other outdoor sports kit are the best.
Spent many years hill-walking and climbing before I reached middle age and took up golf.
Many golfers baulk at buying no-name golf clubs or golf balls, so why buy Nike or Canterbury gear, when Helly Hansen, Colombia, etc have been making this stuff for decades.
