Anyone at the Bon Iver gig last night (2nd Dec) at the National Stadium?
Thought it was absolutely amazing - an artist who is actually bothered about delivering a heartfelt live show. Not too long but you can't have everything (only has 1 album and an ep).

I knew it was on. Didnt have the time or the money to make it up there though:(. I'd say it was an awesome gig. I heard the crowd really gets behind him!

    Who supported?

I was there, very disappointed. I'm a big fan of the For Emma album but I don't think he cut it live. The band weren't very tight, the sound was awful, way too much low end, too much ebow, not enough kick or beat to anything.
A few of the simpler songs still worked but over all it wasn't great. In their defence it was the first gig of a european tour so they were bound to be nervous, and their regular sound engineer was off doing sound in the olympia that night... but still.

Sarah Siskind, a country-ish singer from Tennessee was the support. Paul Brady got up and sang a song with her, it was very good

    Bon Iver blew me away
I have never been to a gig where everything was so silent and everyone just sits and listens but I loved it. So relaxing
    I had goosebumps.
Justin seems so nice, he thanked us for "coming out" after each song.
Aww it was everything I thought it would be and more.

    +1

It was amazing. I've been listening to this album since early August.
Took a while to grow on me but i can't get enough of it.
The concert was fantastic. I especially liked how the songs were changed slightly from the album, and the drum beats behind " Skinny Love" were out of this world.

Justin Vernon is seriously talented. The whole story behind the Album is intrigueing..
