    Hey,

I will be travelling from Malahide to Mullingar for work after christmas, i am wondering if someone can tell me how much it will cost by train? Or maybe it might be better driving down?

I will be going early in the morning, coming back late in the evening.

Maybe there is a travel card that is better value, that someone can recommend.

I haven't used public transport in this country for 10 years, so i'm not that familiar with it these days.

    All help would be appreciated...

    Cheers

    Moggie

Yes there should be - ring the taxsaver office - the number is at www.taxsaver.ie

Trains run from Connolly to Mullingar at every two hours from 0705 each day Monday in Friday.

That seems like a big commute, but at least its against the main flow and you can kip a bit on the train - but not so much that you wake up in Sligo!

If you miss the first train from Connolly, its 2 hour wait.

Better not miss the first train so!!!
