Fortec EPG problem

    I made a mess of installing the freesat epg software on my new fortec passion plus. I think I installed the uploader 3 times (by mistake) on the receiver and then uploaded the EPG firmware. The receiver just shows "file 2" on the lcd display, and a fortec picture on the tv. The website says don't turn off the machine while the firmware is being installed. I've left the machine on overnight, but no change.

    Have I just buggered the receiver or is there some way I can remedy the situation? Like removing the usb stick? Or would I get away with turning the receiver off and on again?

    Any advice much appreciated! :o

    Try this site, http://sataid.net they have a forum dedicated to Fortec and they are very helpful with problems, you have to register to download but I have found them very good.
