I placed an order with this company and 4 weeks later - not even a shipping notification. After emailing to find out what was happening, they admit that they don't have the stock they advertise.
They also advertise in US dollars but don't tell you that. It is a surprise to find out on your credit card just how much you have been charged for a fake handbag that never arrives.
They agreed to cancel the order and provide a refund in accordance with their refund policy.
Two weeks later - still no refund. Four weeks later, still no refund. Six weeks later, still no refund and now no replies to my requests for an explanation as to what is happening.
Don't risk your money with this unscrupulous company. They are not genuine, or if the company appears to be, some of the staff they have there are certainly not honest.
As internet buyers, we can only spread the word about this type of seller.

I guess you don't like them then.

You're right JJ - I don't like dishonesty in any form, but this type of trading makes it tougher for honest people just trying to make a living without ripping off someone else.

They are thieves. Like the previous poster, I ordered something before Xmas 2008. In late January I emailed them to check my order status and got a reply that they would send it in February. Still nothing received. I have sent them numerous emails asking for an order status and, more recently, to cancel my order. No replies have been received. The simple explanation is that they do not intend to send me my order nor refund my money. Ergo, they are totally crooked. I have re-read the product descriptions on their website and not once do they mention they are sending you an ORIGINAL bag. All their references are to "high quality materials" and "superior craftmanship". This leads me to believe that their products are copies. Finally, the sinlge email I received from them was sent from China, which reinforces my suspicion that they are knock-offs. Okay, that's enough ranting but seriously, DO NOT EVER USE MYTRENDYBAG.COM!!! SPREAD THE WORD...

Has anyone noticed that My Trendy Bag now call themselves Urban Bagz. The support email address was still the same as at last Friday 13 March 2009. Again I sent another email and it went through.

I have just now sent another but I got an error. Their page is down. Perhaps the campaign against there rips offs is working. Check it out.

Hey, Ripdoff: nice detective work...:)!! I have just sent an email to the "new" UrbanBagz company regarding my old order. No doubt this will also get the same response, i.e. none!! Like all scammers, they figure they can shut down one dodgy operation and then just re-start it under a new name...they are such cretins. Anyway, I am planning on posting more blogs in the hope of destroying the credibility of UrbanBagz. Hopefully the message will get out that they are simple thieves. Truly a good case can be made for the United Nations to establish an internet police to sort out theiving dogs like the people who run UrbanBagz and mytrendybag.:):)

in december 2008, i purchased 2 bags totalling over $500 & haven't seen the bags or my money since! they have a refund/return policy, so i continuously contacted them via email [for 3 months!] i was given the run-around and was told that my bag was not in stock and that i would be given a full refund - never happened! these companies are completely fraudulent and give legitimate online sellers a really bad name!! i have filed a formal complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center - i suggest that anyone who has been ripped off by either of these companies does the same!
