I'd say this will be the biggest and fastest selling DVD to date.

As far as I know Amazon have one with the case shaped like a Batman mask....kinda like the Iron Man one HMV had. Probably going to go with the comic one myself. Also have the Batman begins comic one.

I've ordered this one off Amazon for myself. I can't wait for it to come, but it could be the second of January when I get it :(

For those too lazy to click on the link, here's a pic of it:

The disc is in the plastic background piece.

I know it's official released on the 8th, but is there any chance that shops will have it earlier? I was debating whether to just buy it online or pick it up in a bricks and mortar store, doing my patriotic bit for our Dear Leader Lenihan.

It'll be out here tomorrow methinks.. they release new CD's / DVD's (etc) here on the Friday before it's release in the UK (due to our charts being released on a Friday).

    You'll probably pay €20 or the DVD, or €30 - €35 for Blu-ray.

Tesco are selling it with Batman Begins in a double pack for €40 on DVD. You could probably do better online. I heard some stores are doing a double pack bluray version but I don't know the price.

Actually, Tescos are the most expensive for the 2-disc DVD edition; they had it for €22.99, while HMV are selling it for €17.99 - cheapest I could find.

hmv have the blu ray for 25 quid. good price i think.

it looks unreal. the imax scenes are savage on the blu version

I've very tempted to finally upgrade to Blu Ray for this movie! Will stick with upscaling for the moment.

    well worth it imo.

the imax scenes were made for blu ray. and the audio is far superior on blu!

Zavvy have the two disc special edition of 'The Dark Knight' for €19.99. The box set of 'The Dark Knight' and 'Batman begins' for €28.99. The two disc Blu Ray edition of 'The Dark Knight' for €28.99 and the Blu Ray box set of both films I'm nearly sure is €40.00.
