I would imagine you could get all the required bits in Maplins or Peats to make your own.

Scratch that, just checked again. 20m for €24.99

Marxcomputers are really cheap for a lot of stuff like this.
Ethernet cable is listed under network ,10M = €8

related question, is there a difference in quality between cables? I bought a cheap 10 m cable for online gaming, trouble is I keep getting cut off at random and my speeds are fairly ok. Thinkin now it must be the cable, is there diffent qualities/speeds for them??

Did you get sorted? If so how do you find it for the gaming?

Hmm, I didn't think so! I bought a 30m one (very cheap off ebay-shipping was more expensive) and I just hooked it up to my ps3 for the first time (very messy-wires everywhere) and it downloaded the latest firmware in about 5 minutes and another 3 to install. I believe that is quite quick?

Your other question: I haven't used it for gaming yet. My internet connection is 3MB (although we never reach that high). All I can say is that the firmware downloaded quickly.
