Are there any Libraries that have, well, more than about 5 plugs?

    huh?

What do you need more plugs for?

If it's for a laptop, then I never have trouble getting a power socket in the hamilton...since there's one or two at every space.

I hear the Berekley has some more too...might head over there considering the hamilton is a bit of a trek! Anyways, the Lecky is crap.

The Lecky is only the 'BESS' library is so much as many course books tend to be there. However anyone with even a bit of sense grabs the books and moves towards a library that is, well more like a library and less like a grotty, noisey coffee shop.

The Lecky is much more than the BESS library. It also has more owls than you can shake a stick at.

    anyway, the answer is Ussher.

I would describe the Lecky as being like Dublin Airport.

    Arrivals
    Departures
    Strange Noises
    Bad Design
    Cold
and most importantly....you never want to stay there for long.

    Aren't they all connected?

You mean the BLU Libraries?? Well they are connected in that you can get to one from the other through the area under the pyramid (now called the "orientation space" - check out the new blue and white signs!). But they are in no way connected aesthetically.

Those signs remind me of being in the country. Everytime I see them I keep thinking of how whoever ordered them must have been watching Father Ted at the time.

Yea they are very out of place in Trinity of non-colour "what need we of paint when concrete will do?".

Although they are a good idea, I'm sure people wander in and don't have clue where to go to find things.

I love the tilted ones as well, pointing up the stairs, very modern.
