Has detected an error and wants me to replace Hard Disk ASAP!

How reliable is it? I've heard some people say just ignore it, 70% chance of error or something.

My PC is old and I'm getting a new one, but not for about a month, will it survive? I downloaded some random disk checkers of the net and 3/3 said it was fine.

    I defragmented too.

Backup as much as you can as soon as your can. It is realiable and if your computers old, it makes sense.
