    hi guys.. i have regular sky & looking to get sky + is there any were you can can get the box cheap?

    i gave sky a call and they were looking to charge me 200 for the box.
    thats a bit mush i have to say.

    also to bad you didnt decide to get sky plus a few weeks ago
    only 75 euro then

    Just got off the phone 2 seconds ago. I politely told Sky I pay €75 a month for my current package and wanted the new customer deal or they could canel my account.

    It's being installed next Wednesday.

    Mention Chorus a lot. :p

    Did the same a few weeks ago. Said I am paying for a service where I get to watch nothing but wannabe models and food channels and to switch it off. It took the guy to the point of giving me a disconnection date before he offered me sky+ for 49 with free installation. Thing is though, I would have cancelled so it wasn't a bluff.

    I told my brother about it and he simply called up and said he had been speaking to (sky retentions rep name) the previous week and had been offered same. They okayed it straight away even though their was no record of his (non existent) call.

    They are not a bad lot in sky.
