Battery playing up again

My MBPs battery is playing up. It put the computer into sleep mode with 20% battery left. iStat pro is telling me its health is 72% after 207 cycles. System profiler is telling me to "Check Battery". The battery indicator has jumped from 1% to 7% while writing this post (it's not charging).

Would applecare replace this for me? As according to their website a battery should last at 80% health up to 300 cycles. Anything less than that is deemed faulty?

Btw this is already my second battery.

If it is your second battery, there may be something going on internally that is eating into it's life. What programmes are running hard on you when you are using the MBP; nothing making a lot of heat or the fan doesn't need to kick in a lot? When you run on the charger, do you get the same readings?

On a side note, have you calibrated the battery recently? Also, have you tried Coconut Battery to see if it agrees with the battery reading that iStat is giving you? Try it and see, it may tell a http://www.coconut-flavour.com

    Coconut battery confirms.

I'm not doing anything inertly wrong. I calibrate the battery often enough (from running the MBP on battery til it sleeps, then running it til it dies completely, and re charging).

Health has gone up to 77% on the charger. My previous battery had these types of problems and random shutdowns. But it was also warped which is why they replaced it.
