Cant find spare DVD Drive for Acer Laptop

Can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement DVD Drive for the Acer Aspire 3000. The part that's in there at the moment is a 'LITE-ON SOSW-833S', I am wondering if any other model/make will fit in it? I cant find any for sale anywhere. Would buy from Ireland or UK. Thanks a mill. Danny

Pretty much any IDE laptop drive should do the trick. You might need to swap the bezel though, in which case you'd use the one from your existing drive.
