    Ello ello,
Just wanted to start a thread to find out if anyone knows where the best place to trade in/sell games is at the moment.

Is there anywhere doing deals like gamestops old deal? (2 used games for one new game?......ahh those were the days)

Oh and it was gamestop giving me €13 for BOTH heavenly sword and resistance that made me want to start this.............

Its your own fault for going to them. Use adverts or ebay or ask a friend if they want to buy it from you or trade for something else.

Stay away from Gamestop. While they used to be good for trade ins, they'll just rip you off now. I was offered just €20 for GTA IV and Far Cry2. I got €45 in Game when I traded them in for Deadspace.

Similarily, I was offered just €10 for 10 newish dvds in Gamestop. They are also the dearest when it comes to selling new games/dvds. I bought Resistance 2 in HMV for €52.99. It was selling at €65.99 in the Gamestop next door in Henry Street.

Its pretty much more of the same but thats not such a bad thing. The graphics are much improved though, at least there's colour now instead of brown/gray like Resistance 1:D. The battles are a lot more intense and its hard to kinda stand back and take in the scenery when you are being overwhelmed with Chimera.

There's some boss battles that range from easy enough to very hard and there has been a twist to how the Chimera develop from infected humans which I think is a lot more realistic and creepier than the conversion chambers from R1.

There's also a more realistic weapon carrying ability, i.e. two main guns instead of up to 10 weapons like R1 so you have to decide what weapon should be kept and what can be dropped. The weapons themselves are mostly carried over from R1 but there's a couple of new guns that are quite good and a new type of grenade thats brilliant at wiping out a cluster of enemies.

On the whole, I think its a great sequel to the original game and I'd give it 8/10. I'd drop 2 points because its still very linear and I'd have doubts about its replay value. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet so I can't coment on that. After Deadspace, its the best game I've bought this year.

    Great review..
I have this game also, thinks it excellent if linear FPS like most on the market. The scale of the game is huge, massive maps with gigantic Chimera ships and Goliaths.
The multi-player is superb altogether. The co-op is seriously seriously addictive with 8 players playing together to complete objective, kill Chimera. Very very good.
