Any other companies along the same lines as Yorkville and SR Technology? Quality without costing the earth

    (maximum set up of 2000W - 2 powered subs - 2 tops -)

Always loved the Elites and wouldn't mind that newer series they have aswell

the SR's are really compact and usually self powered and sound amazing

but like the Yorkvilles Ive never seen a used set for sale - and Germany via ebay seems to be the cheapest route

What other companies would be similar in quality/sound/reliability?

I worked in a guitar shop for a while and we where under strict orders never to take Carlsboro, Peavey and Berhingher equipment in on trade because of serious reliability problems

(even though we sold Carlsboro and Berhingher)

that and the fact a lot of their stuff is outsourced to various factories and re-labeled with the company crest before they go on sale - so parts and repairs where a nightmare when we had to send things back to the distributors

So im trying to avoid the 'Value' brands

    Music Production forum ftw.
Don't think Yorkville have any market penetration over this side of the pond.

EV seem to be the best value for passive speakers, i think. That's my experience so far. And i won't be cutting corners ever again when it comes to buying PA gear.
