Fat legs and wellies

I was just wondering, if anyone here shares my problem, fat legs (Well fat everything really):)

I cant get wellies to fit, even the adjustable ones dont fit right, I allso wear arch supports so I was thinking of getting a pair of water proof hunting boots, I have seen a few pairs in a different sport shops but they are all 200 quid, a budget option would be good,

i was thinking on buying these you can order them with wide or medium they work out at around 146 euro shipping and all in ,
cabelas also do a big range of wellies

Yea, thats exactly what Im talking about, some good budget options, just wary bout shipping stuff from states, with the fat legs and dodgy feet, its hard to get stuff to suit

cabelas have a very good return policy and nice to deal with i buy most of my hunting gear of them , be careful with sizes remember that a UK 8 here is a US 9

Pal of mine who doesn't have internet or credit card asked me to get him a pile of stuff here - http://www.bigcamo.com/

He got waders, boots and jacket and was very happy - only thing was they use a courier and we got hit for the tax. Cabelas use the post and so far I've haven't been caught for tax.

get a good pair of hiking boots, pair gators and pair of gortex boot socks. your feet will be dry and warm all day.

Bigcamo looks great, ive plenty of problems with clothes and shoes to fit, i take a size 15 shoe and im 6'4 so im always on the lookout!

Unless you're actually walking into water, that option is better than wellies. You've a lot more flexibility, the boots have better soles and stiffness and you've got more options.

As well as that, gaiters let you wear whatever trousers you want because usually with wellies you have a problem getting the legs of any kind of padded trousers down the wellies, and even if you do, the bunched material can be a bit uncomfortable.

Muckboots are the answer. The bottom half is rubber and the top half neoprene. I have used them for two years now and they are the business no matter how big the legs or what you wear!

That seems like a good site for the bigger gear thanks, But if it gets to the point where I need 8xl, I dont think I will be going hunting anymore:D

To be honest mate.Im a messy fecker..I just throw them in the bottom of the hot press to dry them out and give them a bash (outside of course..or the mrs would have my balls)to get the mud off when I put them on next..
