Whats the difference between the s5 and the rs5 then given that the s5 there has 354bhp? I'm guessing the rs5 has maybe 100+ on that?

The RS models are always a step up from the S models and audi only do limited runs of the RS versions. They are actually designed and built by Quattro GMBH, a subsidiary of Audi a bit like BMW's M division which does all their M models..

The RS5 has the same engine as the RS4 I think, which had 420bhp. In fact the RS5 may be tuned a bit higher than 420, can't remember.

Indeed. They list from €95k new and the ad has an asking of €65k so it can probably had for not much more than €60k in a straight deal

Not to mention the bargain old motor tax of €1.5k instead of €2k for a post July '08 car :D

Do Cosworth have any involvement with the RS range anymore?

I sat in an S5 last week and every time I pressed on the clutch, my left foot hit off the foot rest. No matter how much I tried to avoid it, it kept hitting it.

Now little minor details like that would annoy me... in a 100k car

quite possibly, I'd agree..........but if I'd spent 100k on a car that came with 3 pedals I'd bring it right back !! ;)

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
