Nah they really aren't cheaper unless you have serious luck, there are 3 mvs>aes console converters

Phantom 1. plays anything till 96-8.

phantom 2 all early encryptions, has trouble with the later games eg. Metal slug 5,sam sho, V,kof 2002/3 ect......

and then super mvs converter plays everything. but depending on what model aes you have you may need a external plug to source this bad boy, to perfectly honest get a consolised mvs. they are just a lot easier, and are less fiddily/

you can get a consolised mvs, and unibios to have it play like Aes.

the phantom and consolised work out to be the same. price wise.

Super mvs is damn expensive though, like stupid expensive, one rule of AES is only get aes if you want the Aes games, its like buying a toaster and cooking a steak on it, you get what i mean.

Sell the AES and get a MVS consolised, I mean sure the Aes is a wow factor and all but, seriously it just doesn't seem as cool getting a converter and playing the games. but Congrats on the System anyway one of the best there is even with out the hype that surrounds the console.

And there are alot of very cheap games you can get on aes for well under 50euro
Kof 94-7 7 if your lucky
    Sam sho 1-2
leauge bowling* Seriously one of the best games on the system fantastic game
    Ghost pilot
    Burning fight*excellent final fight clone
    King of monsters 1/2

I mean most Aes titles are cheap untill you get into the more recent incarnations and Metal slugs ect......Aes is more of a collectors thing But anywhom enjoy the riches and luxury of The AES (Hums neo intro in head).

But by any means if you need any help with the AES at all or anything like that don't be afraid to send me a PM

There's a suprisingly good selection of AES carts for cheapish alright (Okay I don't mean cheap as in ten euro, but less than 60 or 70). I'd really like to buy one myself at some point.

If you're interested in MVS carts too, just get a MVS 1 slot & supergun. Work out a hell of a lot cheaper than an MVS converter. Plus as Appleidog said, MVS in an AES are just wrong :D

01s1n if you can't find a aes game for less the 10 your just not looking hard enough:D.

Also there is no point spending how ever much you spent on a aes, to spend something that is probably more then the aes its self to play mvs games, where you can just save a whole lot of trouble and just get a consolised mvs. there is no shame in having a Mvs, though there is in a Neo cd Cough cough Ciderman i joke i joke.

But there not the same, anyway! there isnt any point if thats the way you look at the aes imo, sell the aes and get a consolised mvs, it works out alot cheaper in the long run. then sticking with the aes, and getting a phantom converter. just to run Mvs games.
