just started up my computer and everything is to big. its like its in zoom mode but my user page is on normal setting. Even the log on page when i turn on the comp. is zoomed in.
I have to scan left to right now when looking at web pages that last night were normal. the task bar is too big the shortcut links are too big
As far as i can find everything is at the same settings that they've always been on
    Its a dell dimension dxp061.

Have you checked the resolution to see what it's set to? It may have defaulted to something too low.

the resolution is at 800 by 600 pixels. what should it be at

Edit: messed around with it and found what looks right.
    Thanks Spear

set resolution to 1024x 768 ,at least ,my res is 1280 x800 ,right click desktop, move slider to right in display propertys ,settings, resolution .IT depends on your preference ,most websites designed for at least 1024 res ,you can change txt size in your browser settings ,simply higher res equals smaller icons/fonts.
