    Hi,
We used to have double doors between the two rooms but took them out which was a bad idea as there is often alot of noise coming from the kitchen.

Is there anyway to stop the noise coming through - cheap that looks decent. We don't want to have to hang new doors.

    Thanks.

A heavy lined curtain might help but really you need to re-hang the doors.

    Hi Workaccount

Have you room either side of where doors were ? If so you could put the doors up on a track and open both sides of opening. Then build a light stud partition outside doors. if you have room Henderson door track 2 no j3 tracks will carry the doors when bolted up to wall. Then build your partition. Maybe you might not have room. When you open doors they will slide back into the partition. See rough sketch attached
