    Yeah think of a Long-horn, either Aqua or Limo black, it'll be a second bass, have a fender already. going to be used to play surf:cool:

    I tried a cheap one in town, it had no bass :S

    I'm guessing the more expensive ones are better.

    As in no bass tone?
    They do have quite a vintagey tone to them alright, not to everyones liking...
    I've yet to actually play one, but i've heard then in action and like what i've heard.
    and they look BOSS!

    Have done already Fish-Head! Good stuff! I'm a kinda surf band, mix of metal/electro and surf, imagine the sound track to a Romaro zombie movie! - that would us -check us out here - www.myspace.com/beastmenmusic - - we also play a few surf standars too..
    anyway enough shameless plugging back to longhorns...:D

    On a purely aesthetic level, I think the Long Horn is quite hideous. There. I said it.

    Also, imo the long horn is immensely unappealing. +1 ravelleman. It looks like there should be a second neck on it, what with the unnecessarily large body and whatnot. Not for me!

    then again, the more I look at it, the more I wonder...
