I fitted a programmable thermostat (not wireless) recently. It will be an easy job for a sparky, maybe a nice 'nixer' for an evening or weekend.

He'll have to decommission the existing timer and thermostat. So I reckon you're looking at a call out fee and 2 hours work (maximum). Haven't a clue what the going rate is but on the assumption that a call out fee of €60-€80 euros applies, then I reckon you should be looking at €150-€250. I could be totally off the wall as regards my estimate. But if it was over €250 then I reckon I was being buggered.
