I know when you use wiggle gift vouchers your orders don't qualify for free shipping - is it the same with CRC?

Are you sure about that? Seems a bit nuts. You do know with Wiggle you have to actively select that you _don't_ want the £3.99 shipping?

I ordered two Blackburn Mars 3.0 lights from Wiggle which arrived yesterday. Both were purchased using a voucher and I wasn't charged for shipping (having - as Blorg points out - deselected the 1st class mail option).

No, i deselected the premium shipping crap and had "free shipping" selected but it still wanted credit card details for the shipping fee (which was 17 yoyos or something ). I also had the option to offset the shipping cost from the voucher.

When you were using your vouchers did the voucher cover the entire cost of the order or did you use a voucher + some off a credit card?

Where you buying a bike from them? Sounds like whatever you ordered had a 'special' shipping fee (like their bikes do), and that that wouldn't be covered...

Nah - not a bike. A lock, some tyres and some brake pads. I assume the lock adds something on to the shipping fee due to the weight.

Although my last order (also paid for with vouchers) I was charged the usual £4 shipping charge as well and there was nothing heavy in that order.

I've emailed them anyway so I'll see what they say.

No, it was a voucher plus credit card.

I have bought from chain reactions with gift vouchers and it works similar to any regular payment method. No extra charges

So I got on to wiggle customer service and they say that there would be no reason I shouldn't be able to avail of the free shipping even if I'm using vouchers... they've refunded the £14.99 charge.

It's weird because I had selected free shipping (on this and a previous order) but was still being charged for it...

Wow - that's great. Fair play to them.

I'd bet they'd lend you a pump if you punctured outside their warehouse too.

I never got around to using it so hopefully someone else does. Unfortunately it expires tomorrow, I should have posted it a few days ago if I had remembered! :p
