Hello all, I have a small kid and I am just getting prepared up to make it good on his birthday which is around the corner. He is a book-lover and likes comics with superman being his fav. Now, I don’t get enough free time and the gift I had like to get him would be a collection of his fav heroes’ comics. There have been some online stores that I had visited but did not find any interesting stuff. Any suggestions to make his present a good one?

Its hard to rec something without a little more information. When you say little kid how little are we talking and how much do you want to spend? There are some nice superman graphic novels out there but some might be a little advanced for a really small kid. All Star Superman might be an option - there's two volumes, both hardback and 160 pages each - the series takes superman back to the main elements so it's a nice collection as you don't need to fill in a huge back story with it or buy loads of tie in books.

If he is really young might I suggest a subscription to the DFC, its a weekly British children's anthology comic that features loads of different types of comics and it comes out weekly so it would be a nice on going birthday present.
