I can't wait for this. Loved the first one and I doubt the new Indiana Jones game will be out anytime soon. Have to admit that I have a few reservations about a "stealth" system, too.

Much preferred the platforming. There was far too much action. The set pieces were fine it was when they prolonged them with 3+ sets of respawning enemies that they got tiresome.

Yeah ok fair point. The shooting was repetitive at times but it's a damn sight better than sneaking around. Platforming was pretty cool but no sneaking around, please!

No games company would shoot themselves in the foot by intentionally missing the Christmas market

They could definately profit from people trading in their Xmas presents to get a new game. If you have ~€50 in store credit and Uncharted 2 just came out, what are ya going to do?

i would still hold that their sales would have been higher if they had been released for Xmas.

I think its more to do with the fact that the release date is only shortly after Christmas rather than, say, February. On the 29th, you are still happily playing whatever games you've gotten in the weeks before. However, in February or March, its a barren wasteland of game releases. A good game is made better and sells better around the mediocrity.

Well that is what i mean. The games market will be swamped. People will have loads of games to play, by the time they bother to look again there will be something newer and shiny on the horizon

Wikipedia says I'm wrong and the only game that got released after chrimbo was Resi 4 on january 11th. Sorry for some reason I thought the other two were released on the 26th of december.

good stuff, i love uncharted sooooo much, unlocked absolutely everthing in the game, then the trophies came out and i did it all again, can't wait for more nathan drake
