Did anyone watch this last night? I've worked in crappy neighbourhoods but some of the sh*ttier parts of Philadelphia make them look positively charming.

The full episode is on IPlayer here (though I'm not sure if its available outside the UK as seems to be the new thing...). Worth a look.

Watched a good deal of it, didn't know it was on. I suppose it'll be on youtube or some such website in time. Got the impression that the people neighbourhoods involved, thise that Louis intervied, were the source of their own problems. I just cannot understand why people don't talk. I get the same in my job (RA in a student village) quite a bit.

did you just compare being an RA in a student village to being a detective in a bad neighbourhood in Philidelphia???

No. But the attitude whereby people clam up whenever a person in authority starts asking questions about an incident is the same

I'm talking about cases of criminal damage, assault, arson. I'm not that sort of twat that gives people sh!t about noise after 23

RA = Resident Assistant. Work in office, assist security if things happen. Have had the Gardai around quite a bit re the above.

    The programme, anyone?
