    Hello,

Just wondering if there is any way of finding out when my court date is coming up. Is there a time frame??

Im waiting since June 08 for a court date but nothing yet.

Its in relation to a traffic dispute.

    Thanks all:confused:

The Legal Diary on the Courts website www.courts.ie might have the date or proposed date for Hearing, provided it has been listed for Hearing. Your Solicitor should be able to give you the information. If you have the full title of your case and the court jurisidiction you would be able to find it. Might take a while though!!

You wont get listings for the District Court on courts.ie.

Check your summons (if you have been served) or ring the Garda. In saying that I wouldnt personally make any enquiries until you have been served first.

basically in a summery matter a complaint must be made within 6 months from the alledged offence and the summons must be served 12 months from then so in reality you could be served anytime up until December 2009.
