So I learned the hard way over the weekend that all these new TV's with a 'Freeview' digital tuner built in are not capable of tuning in a 'Free-to-air' signal directly from my satellite dish (ie. purchasing before reading up).

This brings me to a scenario that Im sure many people out there have thought about and may have a simple solution to.

I want to mount an LCD tv to my wall and use the tv to receive a 'free-to-air' signal. But what are my options in regards to the digital receiver. Do I have to find a small receiver and balance it on the tv! Or are their LCD tv's on sale with 'free-to-air' digital receivers built in?

And help will be much appreciated folk.. :D

The Holy Grail of TVs - built in Freesat Receiver, Built in DTT Receiver (MPEG4), analogue receiver, dual tuners for each, PVR, 42"+, CAM-I slots for pay TV... 1080p, If only! (but I'd hate to think of the price...)

ha ha.. a future vision for our perfect world.

But in the meantime if im not interested in purchasing one of the panasonics reviewed in the above link, then my only option is the balancing act of the Freesat receiver on the wall mounted TV?
