Just wondering if any one can help me, ive got an Asus laptop, and the hinge on the right side that connects the screen and the keyboard part seesm to be cracked, it is still working and opening but there is a clicking sound every time i open or close it and it makes me cringe.

would it be expensive to get fixed?

Model number? Written on the underside. You need to quote the full series and model number to be exact.
Yes Acer laptop parts are available at reasonable cost.

would a pc world be the best place to bring it to?

The hinges on my Dell D600 have finally gone. Does anyone have any experience in replacing such parts themselves? Similarly to the OP, does anyone have a clue at how much you're looking at for repair approximately?

    Thanks

Stay away from pc world. They will just do you. I tried these lads for a hinge before and they were fast and very helpfull.
