    What TV do you have. I believe most TVs have an inbuilt upscaler (but I may be wrong).

    Thanks guys.

    Not all the ones I'd looked at previously had upscaling, but I guess it'll become the standard soon.

    The TV's getting upgraded too, Big L. (lot of big people on this thread!)
    Haven't decided on a brand or model yet though, but it will be a 1080p for sure.

    Just back from an hour's browsing in a local store, I'm now leaning towards a seperate amp & DVD player. Means I can keep my cinema system when I finally have to buy a blu-ray.
