Motorstorm - any good?

I'v just ordered motorstorm pacific rift online and while i wait for delivery can anybody give me the lowdown? - good and bad points etc...

Good:
Amazing graphics, tracks and vehicles and its just plain fun.
The track design is outstanding with many many different routes and shortcuts that only certain vehicles can use.
Excellent online mode with great ranked matchmaking support.
Good soundtrack and supports custom soundtrack also.

Bad:
Can get very difficult later on in festival mode, you will need to know the strategy to win.

+1. Although I wouldn't put difficulty as a bad point, more like 'buyer beware'. I think that difficulty in a racer is a must, as it increases the longievity of the game.

I can't get over how good the track design is. My girlfriend never usually plays racing games with me, but she loves Motorstorm 2 (she likes the first one as well) due to the fact that the tracks are so varied and there are so many routes. I looked like this :eek: for some of them they're that good.

I think they really fixed the crash animations - they're still hilarious but don't go on too long like in the first MotorStorm.

Soundtrack is brilliant as well, there are 45 songs on it, including: Queens of the Stone Age, Slipknot, Nirvana, Ministry and David Bowie (:D).
