Firefox Question

I downloaded Firefox today and Im having a problem with Adobe flash player. On websites that use it I get a message saying "Install missing plugins", but no matter how many times I install it, it still doesn't work.

Also, how can I have it so that when I open a new tab, my home page opens instead of a blank page.

Can anyone help me out?

Have you tried the manual install option for Firefox.
When you select that option, you get a link to download a small file.
Download it,(to your desktop would be handy) and run it.

The settings for the tabs are under the "Tools" - "Options" section.
