Some lovely shots - they must have cleaned the windows since the time I was there :)

What's up with the tiger though?

What is the Zoo like during the week, in terms of numbers? I know when the meet was held there a while back, it was held early on a Saturday to avoid the crowds.

    Few comments...
#1 I like but maybe some more "pop"
    #2 decent
    #3 crop way too tight
#4 I like but again crop is a bit tight
#5 At 1st I thought this was 2 pics mixed!! It's actually a Tiger licking another tigers tail!!
#6 Same as 1, very good but would like some more saturation/pop

Yet to make my trip to the zoo since I took up photography, night as well wait 'til my 5D2 arrives.......could be a while!

i was there one tuesday a while back, it was quite empty and it was mid-afternoon. i had no problem setting up with tripod etc.

the sea lion feeding area was the only jam packed place really.

the photos are nice, especially that peacock. i bet you any money it's the same guy that i snapped when i was there, he was so friendly and allowed me to get super close to him with a nifty fifty.

It had me miffed for ages too, I thought it was 2 pictures merged! especially since the 2 Tigers are diff shades of colour, tis the top Tiger licking the bottom Tigers tail.

    It's a Tiger licking it's back leg!

Its a far far better picture....as I said earlier I just feel you tend to crop tight at times!
