Older woman

so ive been seeing an older (7 years) woman, we're both in our 20's.

we get on so well but every time we go out she says its so wrong to be together and she doesnt want to continue the relationship but the thing is when i say "well should we not see each other again after tonight" she says thats not what she wants. classic mixed messages.

we're from very different backgrounds, different countries and shes obviously more experienced with relationships. i know she has feelings for me and its obvious shes fighting them really hard because she wants to be with an older guy who can offer her more security than i can.

will she come to terms with the fact that the guy it turns out she has chemistry with is not quite what she expected? do people reckon that attraction and chemestry is enough for this to work or will she always feel wierd about being with me because of my age?

A 7 year gap in 30s or 40s is grand. In your 20s, it's something else. I hope it works out but I think the odds are against you.

Seven years isn't that big of an age gap anyway. Geez, when I read the thread title I thought you meant an 'older' woman as in fifties/sixties. It's only seven years. And in my opinion (and maybe not everyone agrees) but age is so irrelevant sometimes. It's just a number. You obviously get on very well. Sounds like you two need to talk seriously about it and focus on what you like about eachother rather than her age.

I mean, really, it's only seven years.

Hmm 7 years, to be honest while some in society might look down on you i would personally say to you that if you both get on well together and the age thing isnt an issue then go for it, nobody can guess your age most guys look older than they acctually are and most girls seem younger than they acctually are.

Give it time, hopefully she will come around to the idea and become more relaxed with the concept and hopefully it flurishes :)

I wish you all the best in your endevours!!
