    i'm using a Logitech Quickcam Deluxe for Notebooks.....works perfectly.

    However this is not guaranteed in your case - depends on whether the cam is a UVC device.

    If not - try macam for webcam drivers!

    Might be worth downloading macam in the previous post with his existing webcam. I got my web cam to work this way even there were no mac drivers for it.

    I've a Logitech Quickcam 7000 that works with the MBP. (It's attached to the big display I plug the MBP into).
