Chainreaction have added some more stuff to the sale, and there's some good things there!

Look CX7 Carbon at 43% off, some Brooks saddles (get there before Blorg!), as well as some Fizik saddles.

Also worth a look is the locks section, and the Lubricants area (ooer misus) for some bargains (I know they say for UK delivery only on some of the liquids, but as they're up north, they'll deliver here too)

    Well worth a browse anyway

They really should get on to the architect and engineers who built their premises!

Maybe they are offsetting the losses from cycling gear with an increase in wetsuit purchases?

Can anyone tell me anything good/bad about the Fizik Aliante twin flex? I need a saddle, preferably red/black and not Brooks!

    Thanks for that, purchase made.

Can you please reimburse me the cost, I was counting the pennies until your post, foul temptress (yes, i meant temptress!).

I guess if I don't buy lunch for a week I'll be ok.

Oooh, I don't think the euro people would approve of that ;)

Dammit the only Brooks left now is the sprung Flyer which I'm not too keen on.

Also worth a look is the locks section,

My new Kryptonite S4 was shipped on Friday and as soon as they sent it both the S4 and New York were in the flood sale - could have got the 4" x 8" New York for €3 more than the S4 and then I could have left my bike in high crime areas rather than just mid to high crime areas - oh the tragedy! :(

on a lighter note I got a new bracket for the S4 off ebay for about €8 delivered from the US so I can have the lock on both my bikes

    Sweet, my saddle arrived today.

I have to say i was slightly worried about the "flood" item I bought, and my worry peaked when I opened the bag and saw the saddle. The surface was discoloured and almost brown instead of red (I'll never go euro!).

Quick wipe and it turns out it was just mud clinging to the surface, brand new shiny saddle was underneath...and it was half price. Just for anyone who, like me, might have been worried about item quality. Of course, one case does not a statistic make.

Thanks Tiny, but I will have to lay off the flood purchases for now.

Good stuff! I've got a few things from the flood sale, and nothing except a chain tool has been noticeably wet at all, and the chain tool just has a little surface rust that 2 mins with wire wool would sort out.

I too have to be strong -I'm not buying a single bike-related thing for the rest of the year.... must be strong! :)

Aside from possibly Tunney's shoes, but that's special...
