Full Auto Cutting Out - Its weird...

    Yeah, my UMP is firing pefectly, except its cutting out. It might shoot 2 rounds, or 30, but then it just cuts. Its not like it fails to cycle(aka gets stuck), it just stops still, like power is lost. Pull the trigger again, it'll shoot and then cut.

    It seems that the contact shuttle is sliding back, what would cause this and how do I rectify it? Never had this problem before...

    I had a similar problem with my CA M16, it would just stop like you describe. I went looking for a complex answere, the problem was a loose wire on the battery pack. Chack all the soildered connections including the battery.

    Yeah, all good as far as I can see, happening with all my batterys.

    Did you check the connection on the trigger contacts

    The Motors are a common enough failure on them, that could be the problem. if not then it could be the contacts under the selector plate or the trigger contacts.,

    I seen this before with the wiring on the trigger contact on the Positive, solder broke connection after my nephew put the battery in incorrectly, put pressure on the cable and it snapped off
