I was contemplating heading up 3rock on the mountain bike. There is a nice road to the very top as well. I could go offroad and you on road. It's not very long though, takes around 25 minutes to get from taylors to the top via road. It is a rather good climb.

Wouldn't be mad keen on going out too far on the road bike after yesterday.

Went off up 3rock. It would not have been suitable for a road bike. Seriously frosty and horrendously cold. Not particularly fun on the way down, having to go very slowly with one foot unclipped ready for spillage.

Got some not so great photos of my lights though. Only had the point and click, will give the DSLR a go when it's a bit warmer and I bring a tripod up ! They are not so great because the exposure is a bit too long, the lights are not as bright as they look. (close enough though!)

Dublin from the top of 3rock.

And then some of my bike, unlit and lit.

Sorry Tiny, would have been on for this but went to the cinema instead.

Impressive looking stuff there Verb, that is truly an obscene amount of light! Nice photo of Dublin too.

I popped my head out the door around 20:00 or so, it was already extremely frosty; looking out the window now all the cars on the road are covered with frost. As Verb says I don't think it would have been a great idea. Itching to get out on the bike myself and will be 100% up for it when there is less risk of our killing ourselves!

Nice photos Verb, I think I will have to get myself a turbo, I can imagine myself on rollers. Oh wait, youtube has imagined it for me:

Still haven't seen quantum of solace yet.

At least he was smart enough to put a helmet on before getting up on his rollers.

I'd say, judging from his use of the trolley, that he is the kind of chap who probably wears a helmet taking a bath.

    I've been a dare-devil in that case.
