New Connection - Best Option?

    I moved house a few weeks ago.
    I live in westport town 0.7 km from the exchange.

    I found that my phone line doesn't work at all.
    No dial tone.

    BT told me a €122 charge to get connected and Eircom thinks its free.
    (But i think they mixed it up with the free 29.99 connection fee)

    I had BT prior to this, but i'm wondering if there are better options.

    I want low pings, i had the 3mb option.

    Any ideas?

    Well ordered eircom in the end

    the line connection fee is free at the mo'
    with bt it would have been 122

    its only 5 euro difference a month which is 60 for the year

    but i would still have to pay the 122

    ordered the up to 7mb, hope the pings are good:o
