Q about a digi sender

I bought a digi sender today in argos, it's a 'DigiSender plug 'n' go MK11'. I set it up and it's working fine. The big problem though is, it's not possible (it seems) to watch different channels in different rooms. This was the main reason for buying it, and I'm sure I read somewhere online that it was possible.

I can't see how it could work as all I'm basically doing is using my remote in my bedroom to change the channel in the living room.
Is there something I'm not doing right?

Also, whenever I plug it in my wireless connection shuts down. Can I do something to overcome this?

The only thing you weren't doing right was thinking it would transmit all your channels at once. It's one channel in, one channel out I'm afraid.

Seeing that most wireless equipment transmits around the 2.4ghz range you may need to change channels on your wireless router and your digisender (if it has the option) to see if you can keep both on without conflict.
Maplin have 5.8ghz digisenders listed on their web site. At least they would put an end to the interference.

Feck. Ah well, I'll still find good use for it.

Thank you, I'll try changing channels, if it doesn't work I'll get a refund and buy a Maplin.
