    found this with a quick google search.
    confirms what i've heard from a few people now. One 18 year old guy I know has severe tinnitus from listening to his ipod for long periods of time.

    I find I can listen to earphones/headphones for about 10 minutes and then it becomes very uncomfortable.

    I've put my ears through hell over the past ten years dumming, playing in bands, djing, and at ridiculously loud concerts (anyone who has seen mogwai live may know what i'm talking about) but I have yet to feel more ear pain than when i grab a listen to other people's ipods. anywho here's the article:
