Does anybody know if a TM SR-16 can take an 9.6v batt without doing anything major?

    I've ran TM's on 12V's fine :) - Personally, I would never use less than 9.6 - So yeah, it'll cope fine.

Just replace the nylon bearings with 6mm bearings like these if you're going to run it full time on 9.6v. I've them in my TM M4 RIS and have run it on a 9.6v only for the past 6 months. Gives a great rate of fire without having to do anything expensive.
